Children of Reverend Armine Styleman
and Ann Blakeway

daughter of Captain James Blakeway of the Royal Navy - born in Snettisham, Norfolk County, England

Son of Nicholas Styleman III and Armine L'Estrange, Armine Styleman of Ringstead was born on 24 May 1726, and baptized at Snettisham on 25 May 1726. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1747, and his Master of Arts degree in 1751, at 8th Wrangler, Trinity College, Cambridge, and became the Rector of Great Ringstead. The Bishop of Norfolk styled him the Divine Squire, and he was widely known by this appellation.
He married Ann Blakeway (1729 - 18 Apr 1795), daughter of Captain James Blakeway, Esquire, Royal Navy, about Jul 1753. Articles on the marriage, dated Jul 1753, said that she had a considerable personal estate.
Armine served as curate to the Reverend Richard Walker, D.D., of Fakenham, signing registers there between Sep 1754 and Oct 1756. He was admitted to the rectory of Ringstead Saint Peter on 2 Sep 1754. Armine served as Vicar of Snettisham from 1761 to 5 Jul 1770, and by virtue of the consolidation of livings he became Rector of Ringstead Saint Andrew's on 11 Mar 1771. He was Vicar of East Barsham from 1770 to 1791.
Ann predeceased Armine at the age of sixty-six years on 18 Apr 1795, and was buried at Snettisham on 24 Apr 1795.
Armine died on 3 Apr 1803, was buried at Snettisham on 13 Apr 1803, and was succeeded by his son Henry Styleman. His Will was proven on 21 Jun 1803.
